About Cinesbrach

Cinesbrach Lighting was established in 2016 by Marco Bianchi and Elena Ferrara, two Milan-based lighting designers who met while working on the restoration of a 17th-century palazzo near the Navigli. They recognised that many Milan properties received generic lighting installations that failed to honour architectural details or support modern living patterns.

Today our team of eight includes three senior lighting designers, two specification writers, a controls specialist, and project coordinators who manage installations across residential, hospitality, and retail sectors. We maintain a showroom on Via Torino where clients can experience fixture samples under calibrated lighting conditions.

Our Design Philosophy

Light is not merely functional — it sculpts space, reveals texture, and guides movement. We design layered lighting schemes combining ambient, task, and accent sources at appropriate colour temperatures for each zone. Energy efficiency is integrated from the outset, with LED specifications that meet EU ecodesign requirements without compromising quality of light.

We collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and electrical contractors, producing detailed CAD layouts and schedules that eliminate ambiguity during installation.

Our designers hold professional memberships with AIDI (Associazione Italiana Illuminazione) and IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers). Cinesbrach is an authorised specification partner for Artemide, Flos, iGuzzini, and Lutron control systems.
